Terms of Service
Terms of Service (English)
Last updated: [AKIS: publication date]
1. Who we are
The Geltom — Get Live Tomorrow service ("the Service", "we", "us"), operating at geltom.com, designs, builds and hosts professional websites for small businesses and sole traders.
Legal provider / data controller:
- Name / legal form: [AKIS: full legal name and form]
- Registered address: [AKIS: registered address]
- VAT number (ΑΦΜ): [AKIS: VAT number]
- Contact: [AKIS: contact email — e.g. hello@geltom.com]
By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
2. What the service includes
We build you a complete, custom multi-page website from what you give us (your brief, your photos, and the public details of your business that we find). The site is generated with the help of AI and reviewed by us before it is handed to you.
The base price includes:
- design and generation of the website;
- up to three (3) rounds of free revisions at the preview stage, before publishing (further changes are agreed separately);
- publishing ("go-live") of the approved site;
- managed hosting with SSL (see section 5);
- one custom domain while managed Hosting remains active (see section 6);
- one
info@yourdomainemail forwarding address (see section 7).
3. Prices and payments
All prices are shown VAT-inclusive. Payments are handled by our payment provider Stripe; we never store your card details.
- €29 First-draft payment — paid before custom production starts. It funds the complete clickable First draft and counts toward the total.
- €120 Approval balance — paid after you approve the First draft, before publishing. The total build cost is €149, VAT included.
- Hosting €10/month or €100/year — starts in the same checkout as the Approval balance, with the first public-offer month included. Your card is saved by Stripe for recurring charges.
3.1 First-draft payment policy (non-refundable)
The €29 First-draft payment is non-refundable once production starts. It covers the design and build work actually performed. If you choose not to proceed after reviewing the First draft, you owe no Approval balance, but the €29 is not returned because the work it funded has been delivered. This is stated clearly before payment.
3.2 Right of withdrawal
Our services are aimed primarily at businesses and professionals. By starting the build after the First-draft payment, you expressly request that we begin providing the service. [AKIS/LAWYER: confirm wording on the 14-day withdrawal right and the waiver on service commencement — to be checked with an accountant/lawyer.]
4. Revisions
Up to three (3) rounds of free revisions are included at the preview stage. A revision counter is kept per project; once used up, further changes are discussed and billed separately.
5. Hosting, cancellation and the "suspended" holding page
Hosting is available monthly or annually (€10/month or €100/year, see 3). Your site is live at your-name.geltom.com as soon as it is published, even while your own domain is being set up.
If you cancel the hosting subscription:
- The site is not taken down immediately. It stays live until the end of the period you already paid for, plus a 7-day grace period.
- After the grace period, if the subscription is not renewed, the site is replaced by a branded temporary "suspended" holding page with instant reactivation — it is not deleted. You can restore it at any time by reactivating the subscription, and it comes back exactly as it was.
Hosting runs on EU infrastructure (see section 9).
6. Custom domain (included with active Hosting)
After paying the Approval balance you can claim a domain for your business. Its cost is included while your Geltom Hosting remains active.
- You are the registrant (owner) of the domain — your business, not us. The domain is registered in your name with the details you provide (name/company, address and VAT number or ID, as required).
.grdomains carry a 2-year minimum registration term and require a VAT number (ΑΦΜ), per the registry rules.- Registration is done through our registrar (Netim). Your domain goes live shortly after; until then the site runs normally on its temporary
.geltom.comaddress. - If you already own a domain, we give you the DNS records to point it at us (and a concierge transfer of the domain to us on request).
- If you leave Geltom Hosting, you retain control of the domain and assume its future renewal costs.
7. Email forwarding (info@)
One info@yourdomain forwarding address is included, forwarding incoming mail to your real inbox. This is plain forwarding — not a full mailbox and not send-as (that may be added later as a paid option). You can change the destination address from your dashboard.
8. Contact forms and your visitors' data (processor clause)
Your site may include a contact form. When a visitor fills it in, their details (name, contact, message) reach you and are stored by us on your behalf.
For that data you are the data controller (the business) and we act as the data processor (GDPR Art. 28). Specifically:
- We process visitor data only to deliver it to you (by email and your dashboard); we do not use it for our own purposes and do not share it with third parties.
- The data is hosted within the EU (see section 9).
- We use the sub-processors listed in section 9.
- When our engagement ends, visitor data is deleted. [AKIS: retention period / export-before-deletion policy — to be defined.]
- While a site is not live (e.g. suspended), no new form submissions are accepted.
As the controller, you must inform your visitors about the processing of their data — which is why every site we build includes a Privacy Policy page.
9. Where data is hosted and sub-processors
Our infrastructure is on EU servers (Hetzner, Germany). We use the following providers (sub-processors) strictly to run the service:
- Hetzner — server hosting (EU).
- Resend — system email delivery (notifications, lead delivery).
- Netim — domain registration and email forwarding (EU, France).
- Stripe — payment processing.
10. Website analytics
We use our own self-hosted analytics tool (Umami) running on our EU infrastructure. It is cookie-less and does not track individual visitors across other sites. We do not use Google Analytics or other third-party trackers.
11. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful, deceptive or offensive content, to infringe third-party rights, or for spam. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content and details you give us. We reserve the right to suspend a site that breaches the above.
12. Liability
We make every reasonable effort to keep the service available and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. [AKIS/LAWYER: liability limits, warranties and exclusions — to be finalised by a lawyer.]
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated to you. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Greek law. [AKIS/LAWYER: competent courts / dispute resolution.]
